Back on Stage
11 years have passed by since I last performed live on stage. Back then, it was in front of a few hundred people at the Sziget Festival '95. Last Thursday, around 150 of my classmates watched us to perform at the INSEAD Cabaret. It was a great night. We started rehearsing on Monday. Jackie and JB sang, James played the guitars, Daniel the drums and I played the bass.
We started with AC-DC's Highway to Hell, dedicated to those who will start their careers as consultants after graduation. Then we continued with Boys Don't Cry from Cure. The third song, Lenny Krawitz's Fly Away was my favorite song from the gig. Then came Van Morisson's Brown Eyed Girl, which I have never heard before. We continued with the always successful I Will Survive, but JB changed the lyrics for our INSEAD memories. And we closed the concert with Kim Wilde's Kids in America. Of course we sang it as Kids in Singapore.

Megdőlt az országos melegrekord szombaton, a legmelegebbet Agárdon mérték, ahol 18,2 Celsius fok volt szombaton, kora délután. Az eddigi legmagasabb értéket ezen a napon 1982-ben Körmenden mérték, az akkori rekord 17,8 Celsius volt.
A héten már többször is mértek új rekord hőmérsékletet az országban. Szerdán a Tolna megyei Tevel községben 18,6 fok volt, és ezzel megdőlt az 1985-ös rekord. Abban az évben Szigetváron volt a legmelegebb, 17,2 Celsius fok.
Pénteken Somogy megyében, Homokszentgyörgyön mérték az országban a legmagasabb hőmérsékletet, 18,5 fokot, és ezzel megdőlt az 1985. december 8-án Marcaliban mért 16,5 fokos addigi rekord.
A mostani szokatlanul enyhe decemberben az átlagos hőmérséklet 10-12 fokkal haladja meg az ilyenkor szokásosat.
Az előrejelzés szerint vasárnap estig a Kárpát-medence fölött nyugat felől hidegfront vonul át, így visszaesik a hőmérséklet, és csapadékra is számíthatunk, de az átlagos hőmérséklet még a jövő héten is 2-3 fokkal magasabb lesz az ilyenkor szokásosnál.
